Approach
Passionate about his profession, Dr. Grimmett is dedicated to diagnosing and treating the specific causes and symptoms of each patient’s condition. His functional approach to treatment focuses on the principle that optimal joint function is dependent on proper soft tissue function, and vice versa. He has found ART and DNS to complement his assessment and treatment, especially for long standing or recurring problems where significant muscle or other soft tissue involvement is present (e.g. muscle, joint, nerve or other soft tissue). Emphasizing DNS again, Dr. Grimmett has found this work to be a large part of the rehabilitative exercises targeted on improving strength and flexibility. functional approach to patient care. Combining manual therapy, including joint manipulation and neuromuscular stabilization, with therapeutic exercise, Dr. Winchester effectively treats functional pathologies and acts as a catalyst for patients working to enhance their performance.
